DANBURY, Conn. A 23-year-old Carmel, N.Y., woman was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence early Tuesday following a motor vehicle stop on Mill Plain Road, police said.
Officers said Kelly Krajewski, of Bowen Road in Carmel, was driving at a high rate of speed at about 2:45 a.m. on Mill Plain Road.
According to Police Lt. Tom Michael, Krajewski was pulled over and officers detected a strong odor of alcohol. She was asked to perform a roadside sobriety test, which she failed, Michael said.
