Waterbury Man Arrested On Crack Charges At Danbury Mall

DANBURY, Conn. – A Waterbury man was arrested in the parking lot of the Danbury Fair Mall and charged with possession of crack cocaine, police said. 

Jeffrey Torres, of Edison Ave., Waterbury, was taken into custody Friday by police executing a search warrant for Torres and his car. Officers said they found several grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale on Torres.

He was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell more than half an ounce, Detective Lt. Tom Michael said.

Torres was held on a $150,000 cash bond, Michael said.
