Two Sent To Hospital After Slashing/Stabbing At Danbury Hotel

DANBURY, Conn. — Two people were sent to Danbury Hospital after a reported stabbing late Thursday at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Danbury, police said.

Several officers responded at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Witnesses said the incident appeared to be a mutual fight between two people, police said.

Both had been slashed and/or stabbed and were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The case remains under investigation, police said. The hotel is located at 116 Newtown Road just off Exit 8 of I-84.
