Two Men Charged With Shoplifting At Danbury Fair Mall

DANBURY, Conn. – Two 26-year-old men from Newburgh, N.Y., were nabbed by cops after they snuck out of a dressing room with over-stuffed shopping bags Friday, Oct. 16, at the Danbury Fair mall, according to NewTimes.com.

Danbury police broke up three unrelated fights over the weekend, and six men were charged. A Danbury police officer and an off-duty Greenwich police officer were injured.

Joshua Clayborne and Joseph Fleischer are accused of shoplifting $1,400 in clothes from the Polo section of Lord & Taylor, the NewsTimes.com said.

Clayborne and Fleischer are both charged with larceny, possession of a shoplifting device and conspiracy to commit. Clayborne is also charged with interfering.
