Three Injured In Serious Motor Vehicle Collision In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. -- Three people were injured during a serious car crash on Padanaram Road on Wednesday, according to Danbury police.

According to police the accident occurred at 11:14 a.m. when a juvenile driver lost control of the Volvo he was driving and crossed from the southbound lane into the northbound lane, police said.

As his car entered the northbound lane it struck a 2003 Subaru, driven by Joseph Leroses of Danbury, that was traveling northbound, police said. 

Both drivers and a juvenile passenger in the Volvo were transported to Danbury Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The wreck is being investigated by the Danbury Police Traffic Division; any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco or Officer Marcel Kruijs at (203) 797-2157.
