Teenage Girl Jumps From An Overpass Onto I-84 In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. — A teenage girl jumped from an overpass onto I-84 westbound near Exit 5 on Monday afternoon and was taken to Danbury Hospital, police told the News-Times.

Danbury police are asking for the public's help in gathering information about a shooting early Wednesday in Danbury.

She jumped at about 4:10 from the Madison Avenue bridge, the News-Times reported. She was conscious when emergency personnel arrived, but her condition and injuries were unknown, the story said.

The teenager was most likely a high school student, the News-Times said.
