Ridgefield Man Charged In Danbury For Possession of Marijuana

DANBURY, Conn. - After a car drove through a stop sign on Spring and Beaver Streets early Thursday morning, Danbury police said they found that the driver had marijuana in his possession. 

Police report that 22-year-old Myles Rendan-Calle of Ridgefield was driving under a suspended license and had marijuana, a small digital scale and several small plastic bags in the car.

A record check found that Rendan-Calle had an outstanding warrant from Wilton for motor vehicle infractions with a bond of $250.

Danbury police charged him with driving under suspension, failure to stop at a stop sign, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana with in 1,500 feet of a housing facility.

He was held on a $5,000 bond and was due at Danbury Superior Court Aug. 1. The outcome of his court date is unknown.
