DANBURY, Conn. — A Danbury man who beat and robbed an 85-year-old at gunpoint in an elderly housing complex in the city was arrested after a 14-hour manhunt, police said in a story in The News Times.
Donny Jackson, 26, was charged with three counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and one count each of home invasion, assault on an elderly person, first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a firearm. He was held on $1 million bond.
