Police: Woman Found Shot To Death In Danbury Apartment

DANBURY, Conn. — Officers responding to a report of shots fired on Saturday afternoon found a 31-year-old woman shot to death in a Danbury apartment, police said.

Two men were arrested after police found them in possession of marijuana at a Danbury playground.

At 1:30 p.m. Oct. 8, officers responded to a residence at 26 South St. for the shots fired complaint, police said.

Upon arrival, officers found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Her identity was withheld, pending family notification, police said.

The police investigation was continuing Saturday evening.
