Police responded to Town Hill Avenue just before midnight on a report of a suspicious SUV and a man with a gun, the News-Times said.
Officers found no man with a gun, but there were two people in the SUV, which smelled of pot and contained the contraband, the News-Times said.
The driver, Jacob E. Marrero, of Danbury, and the passenger, Sydney Quinn Zottola, of New Milford were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of paraphernalia near a school, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance under four ounces.
Marrero was also charged with having a weapon in a motor vehicle and carrying a dangerous weapon after police found a flashlight-style electronic taser weapon in his pocket, the News-Times said.
