Police: Two Suspected Drug Dealers Busted On Multiple Charges In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. — Two Danbury residents were busted Thursday on multiple drug charges as officers executed search-and-seizure warrants on the pair, police said.

Officers from the  Special Investigations Division searched a basement apartment located at 7 Stillman Avenue and found illegal drugs packaged for sale, drug paraphernalia and a significant amount of cash, police said.

They also seized Bernardo Albarran, 32, while he was parked in a vehicle in front of the home of Nixalyz Colazzo, 35, police said. Officers had search warrants for both Albarran and Colazzo, who were suspected of selling drugs from the basement apartment, police said.

Albarran, of 11 Terrace Place, first floor rear, Danbury and Colazzo, of 7 Stillman Ave., basement, were both were placed under arrest and transported to the Danbury Police Department for processing.

Albarran was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of prohibited place, possession of a controlled substance, within 1,500 feet of prohibited place with intent to sell, and operating a motor vehicle with a license. He was held on $100,000 bond. 

Callazo was charged with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of prohibit space, conspiracy to commit possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of prohibit space, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on $25,000 bond.
