Officials Investigating Cause Of Danbury's Christmas Fire

DANBURY, Conn. -- The cause of a Christmas night fire at a Danbury apartment building remained under investigation Saturday, according to the news-Times website.

As previously reported, the three-alarm fire on 276 Main St. ripped through the Music Guild and apartments on the second and third floors. Firefighters extinguished the blaze at around 8:50 p.m.

The' residents were still displaced Saturday, with some second-floor apartments and one third-floor apartment damaged by fire, the story said. The Music Guild, a shop on the first floor, escaped serious damage, the News-Times said.

The Stony Hill Fire Department in Bethel assisted at the scene of blaze along with the fire departments in Brookfield, Ridgefield and Newtown
