Firefighters Rescue Stranded Teens From Danbury's West Lake Reservoir

DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury firefighters put their Zodiac boat into the water Friday afternoon to retrieve four teenagers who were stranded after swimming out to an island in of West Lake Reservoir, according to firefighters and the News-Times.

After the four swam out to the island, one was unable to make it back, the News-Times said. Firefighters picked them up and said there were no injuries in the incident, the News-Times said. 

The Danbury Fire Department set up at the pump station off of Middle River Road, where they launched their zodiac rescue boat.
