DANBURY, Conn. – A Danbury woman has been charged with second-degree sexual assault after an investigation by the state Department of Children and Families (DCF) found that she had sex with a 15-year old male, according to police.
The DCF received a complaint on June 17, and members of the Danbury Police Department's Special Victims Unit conducted a weeks-long investigation that ended when 24-year old Paige Kummerer was found on Spring Street on Tuesday.
Kummerer was also charged with first-degree criminal trespass and larceny after she was found with a bottle of Vistaril pills that she had stolen.
She is currently being held on multiple bonds of $5,000 and $1,000, respectively.
