Gabriel Ordonez was taken into custody by detectives from Danbury Police Department’s Special Victims Unit without incident on an arrest warrant issued by Danbury Superior Court.
The warrant was issued as a result of an investigation into a complaint that Ordonez had been involved in a sexual relationship with a minor female, police said.
He was charged with second-degree sexual assault, risk of Injury to a minor: illegal sexual contact and risk of Injury to a minor, police said.
Ordonez was held at the Danbury Police Department on a court-set bond of $50,000.
