The first happened at about 4 p.m. Saturday at the Subway restaurant on Main Street. When officers arrived on the scene, the employee said she had been behind the register when a man she described as being a dark-skinned male put a knife against her and demanded money, police said.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot in an unknown direction, police said. According to the police report, the victim had a cut on her wrist and was treated at the scene.
On Sunday at about 7 p.m., officers responded to a call at the Citgo on White Street about a robbery.
When the officers arrived, the victim said a man with a mask had come in and pulled a knife on her, police said. The man then took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot headed south on Cross Street.
The suspect was described as a dark-skinned male about 5-foot-8 with a medium build.
