DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury police identified the homeless man found dead last week in a tent as Ralph Salvatore, 41, according to a report in newstimes.com.

The body of Salvatore was found Oct. 12 in the woods near Rose Hill Avenue, newstimes reported.

The cause of death is pending a toxicology report, but police said a hypodermic needle was found near the body, according to newtimes.
