Danbury Police Charge Ridgefield Man In Connection With 5 Robberies

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury police arrested a Ridgefield man on Wednesday in connection with five robberies in July

Maxwell Mulligan, 29, was picked up in New York at the Rockland County Jail where he was being held since last week on a possession of heroin charge.

According to the police report, Mulligan charged in a July 3 robbery at the Main Street Getty-Mart, a July 17 robbery at the White Street Gulf Station, a July 18 robbery at the Backus Avenue Exxon Station, a July 25 robbery at the Newtown Road Mobile Station and a July 26 robbery at the Windmill Diner. 

He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond for court arraignment on Aug.1. No information about his court appearance is known.
