DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury police officers traveled Friday morning to West Hartford to arrest a 52-year-old man on sexual assault charges, police said.
Detectives from the Special Victims Unit went to West Hartford to serve a warrant on Pedro Souza, of West Hartford, police said. They were assisted by West Hartford Police Detectives.
Souza was taken into custody without incident and taken back to the Danbury Police Department.
He was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and four counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Souza was held on $200,000 bond.
Danbury police released no further information on the arrest on Friday morning.
