According to police, the State Police Computer Crimes Unit initiated an investigation in June after receiving a complaint regarding suspected child pornography being saved to a cloud storage device.
Through the State Police investigation and the execution of search-and-seizure warrants, Barker was identified, and after reviewing two of his cellphones, police discovered child pornography, police said.
Barker turned himself in to the state police Friday. He has been charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and was held on $40,000 bond. He was taken to the Danbury Superior Court for arraignment.
