Danbury Man Charged In Connection With 1998 Burglary

DANBURY, Conn. – A Danbury man was arrested Wednesday on a warrant on charges stemming from a March 1998 burglary, police said.

Joseph Stanton, a Danbury resident, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief, Detective Lt. Tom Michaels said. The charges are related to the theft of tools from a van parked on Shalvoys Lane more than a decade ago, police said.

Stanton was held on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Thursday, Michaels said.
