Danbury Man, 58, Charged With Sexual Assault Of 8-Year-Old Girl

DANBURY, Conn. – A 58-year-old Danbury man was arrested Friday on multiple sexual assault charges in connection with the abuse of an 8-year-old girl, police said. 

Carl Alcala, of Padanaram Road, was arrested without incident at his home on a warrant by the Danbury Police Department’s Special Victims Unit. The arrest was the result of an investigation.

Alcala was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a victim under 13 years old and three counts of risk of injury to a minor.

He was held on a cash-only court-set bond of $75,000, police said.
