Danbury Firefighters Use Jaws Of Life To Free Victim From Car Crash

DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury firefighter were called to a a two-car crash on Lee Mac Avenue on Saturday afternoon, according to a Facebook post.

The crash occurred at about 2:35 p.m. near the Department of Motor Vehicles. 

One victim had to be rescued from one of the cars by firefighters using the Hurst "Jaws of Life" equipment. 

Danbury EMS and police also helped at the scene, the Facebook Post said. In the photo above, firefighters can be seen using the equipment to remove the roof of the car.
