Segunda Guallpa-Tamay was arrested Wednesday after police responded to a call from a Danbury apartment and found the woman crying in a bedroom, according to the News-Times. Authorities withheld the woman's relationship to Guallpa-Tamay to protect her identity.
Guallpa-Tamay used scissors to cut the woman’s clothes off before binding her and assaulting her for about 30 minutes, police told the News Times. He has been charged with first-degree sexual assault, first-degree unlawful restraint and third-degree assault, the story said.
