43-Year-Old Danbury Man Busted On Drug-Dealing Charges

DANBURY, Conn. — A 43-year-old Danbury man was arrest on multiple drug-dealing charges after officers armed with a warrant searched his home and car, police said.

On Thursday, officers conducted a surveillance stopped Keenan Moore on Nabby Road while he was driving the vehicle listed in the search and seizure warrant, police said. 

After seizing Moore and his vehicle, investigators proceeded to his residence at 10231 Ashwood Valley and made entry, police said. 

"Moore was found to be in procession of a substantial quantity of narcotics packaged for sale and associated drug paraphernalia," Danbury police said in a statement.

Moore was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a prohibited place, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within feet of a 1,500 prohibited place, possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a child.

He was released on $50,000 bond.

The court-authorized search-and-seizure warrants were executed by members of the Danbury Police Department’s Special Investigations Division, Community Conditions Unit and the Patrol Division and a representative of a federal law enforcement agency.

The warrants for Moore, his car and his cellphone were issued as a result of a complaints that he was selling illegal drugs from his residence and various other locations within the Danbury area.
