Patrick R. Waldron, 81, Of Danbury, Director Of Veteran Affairs

DANBURY, Conn. - Patrick R. Waldron of Danbury died Oct. 28. He was 81.

Waldron was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Danbury, to Harold and Alice Waldron. He was a Korean War Veteran, from the Navy. His was director of Veteran Affairs, a position he held for almost 30 years prior to his death. He was a member of American Legion Post #60, Disabled American Veterans Chapter #25, Korean War Veterans, Elks, Moose Order and the Americo Vespucci, just to name a few.

Waldron is survived by his wife, Barbara (Salvestrini); sons, Patrick (Sheryl) and Tracy (Jennifer); daughter, Pamela (Brian); three granddaughters; and a grandson.

Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Sacred Heart Church, Danbury. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury at the convenience of the family.
