DANBURY, Conn. - Jane F. Keane of Danbury died Friday, Sept. 13. She was 69.
Keane was born in Danbury, daughter of Herbert and Eileen (Frede) Clarkson. She graduated from Bethel High School and worked for many years in the shipping department of Duracell Corporation.
Keane is survived by her daughters, Kelly Potenziani (Angelo) and Kristin Allen (Mark) of Danbury; sisters, Eileen Valenti (Peter) of Bethel, Linda Deakin of Danbury and Beverly Poklemba of Bethel; 10 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Peter R. Keane; daughter, Kimberly Lane; and brother-in-law, John Poklemba, Jr.
Calling hours are Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 at St. Mary Church, Bethel. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
