Gerson Roberto Ossers, 56, Of Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. - Gerson Roberto Ossers of Danbury died Dec. 7. He was 56.

Ossers was born Jan. 3, 1958, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He attended Universida Central del Este in San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic, and earned a doctorate in general medicine.

Ossers is survived by his wife, Josefina Ossers; daughters, Belmary, Dariana and Belkis; son, Robert; mother, Maria Martinez; sister, Belkys Ossers; brothers, Mario and Jose Anibal; two nephews; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Mario Alberto Ossers.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 145 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
