NEW MILFORD, Conn. - Gerard Joseph Sweeney of New Milford died June 13. He was 58.
Sweeney was born Feb. 20, 1955; son of Jacqueline and Francis Sweeney of Redding. He was an ASE certified master technician who worked in Easton and Danbury, and owned his own business in New Milford. He was currently employed at Home Depot in Danbury.
Sweeney is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Patrick, Dennis and Ryan; daughters-in-law, Jeannie and Maya; four grandchildren; sister, Sharon; brothers, Kevin, Francis, Terry and Tom; extended family, the McSherrys of Redding; and friend, Al Smith and his family. He was predeceased by his parents.
