Fenwick was born Dec. 11, 1974, in Danbury to Charles F. Fenwick of New Fairfield and the late Corinne Goldstein Fenwick. Raised in New Fairfield, she attended New Fairfield schools.
She was married to Michael D. Damici, who survives her. Fenwick was a full-time faculty member in the justice and law administration division at Western Connecticut State University. She taught courses in criminological theory and research methodology.
Fenwick received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Rutgers College. She received a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed her doctorate at the University of South Florida. She enjoyed teaching, family, friends, gymnastics and animals.
Survivors include her brother, Daniel Fenwick; her paternal grandmother, Margaret Fenwick; her mother-in-law and father in law, Carolyn and Richard Damici; a sister-in-law and brother in law, Amy and Vincent Fagnani; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services and burial will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home in Danbury.
