Christian J. Vossen, 56, Of Danbury, Worked For Amphenol

BETHEL, Conn. - Christian J. Vossen of Bethel died Wednesday, April 3. He was 56.

Vossen was born Feb. 2 1957, in Ougree, Belgium, son of Hubert and MaryJeanne (Borlez) Vossen. At the age of 10, he immigrated to the United States with his father, mother and sister. He attended Danbury and Bethel Public Schools.

Vossen worked as a mold technician / machinist for Amphenol in Danbury and Winchester Electronics of New Milford until he moved to North Carolina. He moved back to Connecticut to help take care of his father.

Vossen is survived by his daughter, Stehannie Vossen; his son, Christian L.Vossen of Bethel; his sister, Silviane Carbone (Christopher) of Newtown: his two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

There will be no calling hours. There will be a graveside service that will take place Saturday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at St Rose Cemetery located on Cherry St., Sandy Hook. Vossen will be laid to rest on that day along with his father and mother. Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
