DANBURY, Conn. - Bertha Jeanette Sherwood Bruey of Danbury died Oct. 28. She was 90.
Bruey was born June 12, 1924, in Danbury, to Friend and Gertrude Sherwood. She graduated from Danbury High School .
Bruey is survived by her daughters, Joyce Northrop of Danbury and Barbara Calabrese of Missouri; son, Leon Bruey Jr, (Karen); daughter-in-law, Jackie Bruey; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Bruey Sr.; son, Norman Bruey; two brothers; and a sister.
