original story: DANBURY, Conn. - Two traffic issues are being reported on westbound I-84 on Wednesday morning near the Connecticut and New York border.
A tractor-trailer accident is blocking the right lane of I-84 westbound in Danbury between Exits 2 and 1 on Wednesday morning, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said.
The tractor-trailer reportedly spilled its load at about 6:30 a.m., DOT said.
It was not clear how long it would take to clear the spill and open the lane.
An accident was also reported on I-84 westbound between Exit 21 for Route 121 and Exit 20 for I-684 at 7:20 a.m. One lane was blocked, causing stop-and-go traffic in the area.
