  • Danbury police are investigating after a driver Rosalee Blacker, 22, from South Salem, N.Y., struck and injured two runners Aldair Salazar, 19, and Christian Jones, 21, both of Danbury, at the intersection of Balmforth Avenue and Osborne Street. 
  • A Danbury man Jason Jones, 30, is facing several drug charges after officers executed a search warrant and found crack cocaine in his possession, police said. 
  • Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton ordered cars off the streets in a Level 1 snow emergency as a storm hit the city on the day before Thanksgiving, dropping about 4 inches of snow across the region.
  • Two employees at a Norwalk gas station located at 126 Connecticut Ave. were robbed at gunpoint and police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspects.
