Metro-North Reports Long Delays On Danbury Branch Due To Mechanical Woes

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Metro-North was reporting 40- to 45-minute delays Monday evening for northbound trains on the Danbury Branch.

The lengthy delays were due to mechanical difficulties, Metro-North said. The problem was reported via Twitter at 8:53 p.m. by Metro-North.

Riders should listen for announcements at stations. Metro-North did not detail the problems or when they would be resolved.
