original story: DANBURY, Conn. -- Trains on the Danbury Branch are delayed over an hour due to earlier switch problems on Monday morning due to the snow, Metro-North said at about 9:45 a.m.
The delays are of up to 60 to 80 minutes on the Danbury Branch, Metro-North said.
The problems occurred on the branch between the stations in Redding and Branchville due to snow conditions, Metro-North said.
Train riders are advised to listen for announcements at their stations.
Trains on the main New Haven Line are also experiencing delays of 10 to 15 minute due to weather-related conditions, Metro-North said.
