Before the fireworks, Fast Ricky and The Wild Ones took center stage in the parking lot and rocked the evening away leading up to the fireworks.
When Fast Ricky Performed, many local kids in the crowd got a turn on the mic and were asked to sing along, as lead singer John made them feel like part of the band.
The band did songs ranging from the classic oldies to the most current tunes.
At 8 p.m., The Wild Ones took over with their own wild assortment of lights. The band kept the audience dancing, playing music from the '90s up to now, with favorites ranging from Britney Spears most-famous hit "Hit Me Baby One More Time," to Pitbull's "Fireball."
Vendors from Mimi's, Rita's Italian Ice, Whole Foods, and The Cook House kept everyone's taste buds in check, selling such goodies as gelato, mozzarella sticks, fried dough, meatballs, hamburgers, hotdogs, and more.
The lead singer from The Wild One's couldn't be any happier about the season. "I'm so happy summer 2015 is here," Tobey excitedly yelled to the crowd.
During the fireworks, the music of the Wild Ones was patched over radio station I-95 FM. They performed patriots songs, including "Born In the USA," "Fireworks," "The Star Spangled Banner" and more to keep the fans entertained during a beautiful show of fireworks put on by the Danbury Fair Mall.
