Downs Street In Danbury To Be Resurfaced At Night

DANBURY, Conn. -- A nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be done on an 800-foot segment of Downs Street in Danbury this week.

Motorists can expect lane closures on the street from beginning to end. Exit 5 from I-84 will also be closed during work hours.

Traffic control personnel and signs will be used to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule is 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Wednesday, Oct. 23, to Friday, Oct. 25.

Motorists should be aware the scheduled may be modified or extended due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
