Disabled Train Near Redding Causes Delays On Metro-North's Danbury Branch

original story; DANBURY, Conn. – A disabled train on the Danbury Branch near the West Redding station is causing delays Tuesday morning, Metro-North said. 

Substitute bus service is being provided on the Danbury Branch for the 8:05 a.m. train from Cannondale making all stops to Danbury. 

Train service is being provided on the Danbury Branch for northbound customers at Merritt 7 and Wilton with delays of 20 to 30 minutes. 

Danbury Branch Southbound Service continues to experience delays of 35 to 55 minutes due to the disabled train at Redding. 

Riders are advised to listen for announcements at their stations.
