Original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- When the winning numbers are drawn for Powerball on Wednesday night, will the lucky winner of $400 million be someone in Fairfield County? 

The Powerball jackpot has been growing since Aug. 7, when a man in Minnesota won a gigantic $448.4 million prize. If the jackpot remains at $400 million, the cash value for tonight's drawing will be $223.6 million.

In 2012, there was one jackpot winner in Connecticut who won $60 million. In 2011, a group in Greenwich won $252.2 million.
