Danbury's Rockwell Road To Close For Sewer Work On Thursday

DANBURY, Conn. -- Road closures and detours are expected on Rockwell Road in Danbury from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday due to planned repair work on the sewer system.

As a result, Rockwell Road from Stadley Rough Road to Sand Pit Road in Danbury will be closed to cars during this time. Drivers should use alternate routes and be prepared for delays.

This is the stretch of Rockwell Road that travels under Interstate 84 near Great Plain Elementary School. Motorists can go under I-84 on Great Plain Road/Germantown Road.
