The city asks residents to place their live trees with everything removed curbside for pickup. That means no decorations, tinsel, lights, tree stands or other items still attached.
The city will not accept artificial trees.
The Highway Department is scheduled to pick up trees through Friday, Jan. 30, weather permitting. Residents are asked to put trees curbside as soon as possible to guarantee your tree is picked up while the trucks are in the neighborhood, since there's no set schedule.
Trees can also be dropped off for free at Ferris Mulch Products on Plumtrees Road.
