original story: DANBURY Conn. -- The shoulder is blocked on I-84 west due to a crash Wednesday morning between Exit 8 for Newtown Road and Exit 6 for Route 37, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported at 7:20 a.m. Stop and go traffic is reported in the area. Motorists should expect delays in the busy area.
