Crash Blocks Lane, Slows Traffic On Route 7 Near Danbury Mall

DANBURY, Conn. -- Traffic jams were reported Wednesday evening after a multi-vehicle crash on Route 7 north in Danbury, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said. 

The accident was reported just before 6 p.m. on Route 7 north between Exits 8 and 9. for Wooster Heights Road/Miry Brook Road and Park Avenue near the Danbury Fair Mall.

The right lane was closed.

It was not clear when the crash would be cleared. Significant delays were reported in the area.
