Buses Replace Trains On Danbury Branch; Service Running Late

Update 12:30 p.m. Monday: Trains were back and running on a regular schedule by midday Monday on the Danbury Branch, Metro-North said. 

Original story: DANBURY, Conn. -- Bus service was being provided on the Danbury Branch of Metro-North Railroad late Monday morning, the railroad said on its website. 

A bus replaced the 9:57 a.m. train departing Danbury and making all stops to South Norwalk, Metro-North said. This bus was operating about 60 to 90 minutes late.

Riders were advised to listen for announcements at the stations.
