Christopher was taken to Danbury Hospital on Oct. 7 after he complained of a headache then began vomiting and became unresponsive.

Though doctors were unable to repair the vessel, it gave them an opportunity to better evaluate the condition and plan for a different procedure which is currently scheduled for tomorrow, the family added.

The procedure planned, an endovascular embolization, is a procedure where doctors will attempt to block off the vessel using an embolizing agent.

If successful, they will then remove blood clots which have also formed within the brain. This next step is crucial in providing a starting point toward recovery if both procedures are completed successfully, the family said.

His family started a page on GoFundMe to raise money for hospital bills. To donate, visit www.gofundme.com/vd67w9us.
