Cheng brings 12 years of breast surgery experience to the expanded WCHN Breast Center, now located at 20 Germantown Road, 2nd Floor. She also sees patients at 22 Old Waterbury Road, Suite 108, Southbury.
She comes to the network from Stamford Hospital where she served as co-director of the High Risk Program at the Women’s Breast Center. Prior to her time in Stamford, she served as the inaugural medical director of the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital.
Cheng earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at The Penn State Milton S. Hersey Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in breast surgery at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md. She is board certified through the American Board of Surgery.

Her clinical specialties include skin, areola, and nipple-sparing mastectomy to facilitate immediate reconstruction, perioperative narcotic-reducing analgesia, advanced minimally invasive techniques, breast cancer risk assessment and management, and clinical research.
Cheng joins the practice of fellowship-trained breast surgeon Dr. Valerie L. Staradub and Sandra Biolo, APRN.
