The event features more than 100 trees decorated by local residents and businesses, which are then raffled to guests, said Lori Zezza, associate director of development at Ann’s Place.
“It’s a great event for all ages,” said Zezza. “A lot of people come back and reconnect year after year, it’s a great place to meet people.”
Zezza expects 5,000 guests to attend and said she hopes the event will raise more than $100,000.
The three-day event will take place at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center and will feature a tree raffle, marketplace, children’s tea parties and live entertainment, including school choirs, Irish step dancing and a capella singing groups.
The event kicks off Friday with a cocktail party from 6:30 to 10 p.m., followed by raffles and shopping Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The marketplace will feature several electronics, including televisions and X-Box gaming systems, donated by local companies, Zezza said. There will also be a quilting corner featuring quilted items for sale.
There will also be a Lego artist challenge and high school robotics teams will showcase their creations, Zezza said.
Tickets for the Friday cocktail party are $125. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday are $10 for adults, $5 for children and seniors, and children under 5 are free.
