For instance, one renovation-minded Fairfield family knew they wanted to add more kitchen space, but didn't know exactly how to do so. "The original layout of the kitchen didn't really lend itself to an easy design," said Mike F of Fairfield. Limited counter space, cramped appliances and isolation from the dining area were all problems they hoped a redesign would fix. "You have an idea of what you want, but you don't really know how to put it on paper," he said of not knowing exactly how their dream kitchen should look.
However, after collaborating with HM Remodeling's award-winning interior design team, the family began to see their dream kitchen take place, both in blueprints and through 3D rendering. "The designers were fantastic and their collaboration ultimately makes for a better product," said Mike.
Just as important as a room's designing and planning is how the renovation is executed. "The technicians that came were very friendly, which I thought was important, because they're in your house day in and day out," said Mike. "They really became part of the family before the end of the project and did a fantastic job."
For the Fairfield home, the renovation results were impressive. The kitchen was expanded and opened up, and features white shaker style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and an entertaining peninsula. "They did a fantastic job," said Mike.
