It has won a variety of awards and has been named a Top 10 Connecticut Course and the No. 2 Best Public Course in the NY Metropolitan Area.
Golfers recently hit the course and enjoyed the great weather as the Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut in Brookfield hosted its 27th annual Golf Classic.
RIchter Park has 18 total holes, with green fees ranging from $55 to $85.
The course was designed by Edward C. Ryder and it was built in 1971. It offers golf carts but no caddies. The course was developed by the City of Danbury.
RIchter Park offers a $75 pass for residents of the neighboring towns of Bethel, Brookfield, Ridgefield, Redding, New Fairfield and Southeast, N.Y. With it, golfers can get discounted greens fees.
